Welcome S.5D & S.5E!
Form 5 schooling has come to end and summer holidays are coming, yet for Form 5 students, it’s not a time to relax and enjoy yet as you all have to sit for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary School Education (HKDSE) next March. Time is running short and there is still a lot to catch up and improve; so let’s make the best use of time to do the best we can to tackle the challenge ahead - the HKDSE.
Post-examination activities have already started and I hope you enjoyed the African Drum Session that you had this afternoon. It’s really an interesting and unique experience for most of us, beating the drums and moving according to some rhythm. You must also be surprised and excited to see the principal and Mr. Wu joining the group and showing their talent in dancing the ‘African’ way, which I am sure has won a big applause from all of you.
To retain such good memory and experience, why not write a blog entry titled “My First Encounter with African Culture - Music and Dance". To make your blog entry more interesting, you may include some drawings or photos depicting the movements of some of your schoolmates during their dance and their playing the drums. Of course, I would also be looking forward to your descriptions and picture illustrations of the principal’s and Mr. Wu’s ‘dance’.
Open a Google blog and start sharing your life, work and feelings with me and all your classmates.
Deadline for submitting your blog entry: 15th July, 2012.
